The reason I am bringing this event up on my blog is because families were encouraged to participate with their children, which is what I did and it was a blast! I forgot how much fun it was to just be with my four and eight year old and act like a kid again. I do not mean to imply that I was acting immature. I simply mean having the chance to jump and dance around with no cares in the world was the most wonderful feeling. Being with the kids and seeing the big grins on their faces as they were dancing and moving around was worth more than any amount of money.
There's nothing wrong with acting like a kid once in awhile (in the proper moments). The other afternoon I was playing hide and seek in the park with my son and I had so much fun as we were running and chasing each other. We should all take a step back every so often and just be with our kids or grandchildren and enjoy those moments to the fullest when we can for example, dance around without caring beyond when the song ends and the next one begins!
Thought of the day: How come people tell you to stay a kid for as long as you can. Yet the moment you do anything childish or immature they tell you to grow up.
Quote of the day: Find a place inside where there's joy, and the joy will burn out the pain.
